Over the next months, MiR will release a HW version 2.0 of the MiR600 and MiR1350 portfolio. This means that all MiR600 and MiR1350 robots – both base robots and applications with top module – will transition from HW version 1.0 to HW version 2.0. The exact date for the cut-over will vary from robot variant to variant depending on stock levels and order intake. Earliest possible shipment of MiR600 and MiR1350 HW version 2.0 products will be February 19th. Prior to first shipment, a product release note will be issued.
MiR600/1350 HW version 2.0 introduces the following main changes and optimizations:
Lowered corners and hatches to serve as mechanical foot guards. This opens for removal of added foot protective fields in the robot footprint which can improve robot agility and performance.
New STO relays that will minimize power consumption and contribute to a reduction in ambient temperature in the front compartment.
New default safety configuration with more robust turn-speed logic.
All MiR600 and MiR1350 HW version 2.0 robots are shipped with a new software version 2.14.6 that releases later this month but are fully compatible with existing software versions.
